DescriptionOn June 20, 2026, the jaredfromsubway.eth sandwich-attack MEV bot (0x3e37f4A10d771Ba9dE44b6d301410b1BEdeA65d0) was drained of ~$7.5–15M via a 'dangling-approval' honeypot trap using 66 fake ERC-20 contracts. As of June 24, ~$5.1M has been laundered via Tornado Cash; the attacker ignored a 50% white-hat bounty (2,150 ETH return deadline already expired) and showed no intent to return funds. TRM Labs and Elliptic link the attack to North Korean group UNC4736 with medium confidence.
- This event resolves YES if, on or before July 16, 2026 23:59 UTC: (a) any portion ≥100 ETH (or stablecoin equivalent) is provably returned to jaredfromsubway.eth operator address, OR (b) any portion ≥100 ETH equivalent is officially frozen by Tether, Circle, or a centralized exchange acting on law enforcement instruction.
- This event resolves NO if no qualifying return or freeze occurs by the deadline.
